Ah, September! The days are getting shorter, the leaves are changing colour, and scholars & academics are all back in school. If you’ve ever tried Googling for essays and term papers, sifting through the vast array of results can be daunting, as most websites only offer premium (paid) services without offering any free downloads.
As with everything else on the ‘Net, scams are around every corner when it concerns essay sites. We’ve put together a collection of ten great websites that cater specifically to exams, essays & term papers that are, indeed, completely free of charge.
www.echeat.com
eCheat.com serves up over 8,200 essays and term papers, all of which are freely available for download. To make it easy for users to sort through, essays are ‘graded’ from F to A+, with a great assortment of categories to browse through as well.
Worried about the prof figuring out that you downloaded an essay? No worries, there are two options to circumvent this: You can either hire someone to write you a brand-new custom paper (at $19.95 per page); or, select an existing essay from their premium services for $9.95 per page. After all, "It’s Not Cheating, It’s Collaborating."
www.freeforessays.com
Free For Essays currently boasts over 50,000 free user-submitted essays. They provide students examples of essays written by other students to help aid you in your term paper writing needs. To view the full text of the papers you must first login on the site, but it’s well worth the trouble.
www.oppapers.com
OPPapers has tens of thousands of free term papers, free book reports, and free essays on file. It’s not uncommon for them to receive hundreds of new submissions each day, so check back often. To view the complete essays, you’ll first need to create a free account and login to the site - which also means you’ll need to donate one paper to the site. TIPS: When ’searching’, change the radio button to "oppapers.com" or else you’ll be redirected to FratFiles.com - a pay site. Also, when browsing, scroll down past the first five results (these also belong to FratFiles). Aside from this minor nuisance, OPPapers offers an astoundingly vast selection.
www.planetpapers.com
PlanetPapers makes available a free database of student written example essays to help other students in writing their own essays and papers. Currently there’s more than 5,800 free entries. To participate in interactive features on Planet Papers such as essay comments and ratings, Q&A forums and the submission of original works for inclusion on the site, you will need to sign up for a free account. Of course, viewing essays requires no sign up, fee or submission. The essays are all completely free.
www.essay.org/essays
Essay.org currently has more than 1,000 essays, mostly in English. And they are all FREE! Download as many as you like. Most of the content is user-submitted, and there are no categories to browse - just an alphabetized listing to scan through. Most of the files are in *.doc format.
www.chuckiii.com/Reports
Chuck III is a great site with over 30,000 FREE quality Term Papers, Book Reports, and Essays. Tons of new submissions are being added all the time, so check back often. Here’s a list of the essay/reports categories:
www.essayworld.com
Essay World - no frills, no gimmicks - just content. With over 10,000 free essays to browse through (including book reports and a good helping of miscellaneous writings), it’s the ultimate online resource for students!
www.essaydepot.com
Essay Depot offers a multitude of free user-submitted essays, term papers and reports. All essays are "rated" using two separate criteria - one for the "readability" factor; and the other pertains to a grading system on quality. The full-featured site search is great - results are extremely well-organized and easy to browse.
www.gotessays.com
Got Essays? is an extremely easy to use resource for a variety of papers, including biographies, book reports, acceptance essays (college entrance papers) among others. Currently they boast over 2,900 unique essays, and most of them are quite professional. Be sure to check out their sister site that offers even more at www.ra-gotessays.com.
www.freshexams.com
Fresh Exams started in the spring of 2008, and is the project of a college student tired of professor inadequacy and lack of exam prep material. Practice and past exams should be freely available to students desiring that extra edge in their endless attempts to pass exams and avoid scrutiny from both parents and peers. To get access to the downloads, you’ll need to first register (and login).
