For the most part there’s no rhyme or reason to these; it’s a bit of a mixed bag of new sites that were simply not included in the last list. Being that there are just too many new trackers to report about in this August 2010 Edition, we’ve been forced to break it down into two separate articles. Here we present 12 new sites; most of which are considered general and/or content-specific trackers. Ratings for these are more than fair, although we’ve yet to cover some of the newer niche sites that have recently launched. We’ll dig deeper into this in Part II, and we’ll include a bonus: realtime updated stats from trackers which were included in the previous July Edition.

SaveTheCoratee (StC) - Mac Tracker is Officially Dead

Wondering where StC went? All signs suggest that SaveTheCoratee, a once semi-popular ratioless Mac tracker is dead and not coming back. StC now holds company with the defunct VortexNetwork which went offline earlier this year, leaving the BT world with just one true Mac tracker. Inside information suggests that the Mac OS torrent community is now relying on the true backbone of the scene, and that’s Brokenstones - or is there a new alternative? Perhaps there’s a spinoff tracker for StC refugees after all…

Deli.sh - The Food Tracker, Grand Opening Coming Soon

Community is everything. It took just two What.CD members to come forward and post their vision: a desire to create a new niche tracker. Supportive response was overwhelming to say the least; less than a week later a mere concept had spiraled into a full-blown reality and Deli.sh was born.
