There’s a new PreDB website that not only offers a comprehensive listing of new scene releases, but also shows Traces - or torrent races. Introducing Trac3.me, a collaborated effort from the pros at APNet and ScnSrc. Trac3.me, also known as Trace, is a service similar to other PreDBs - but with an interesting twist. Not only are scene releases indexed in the thousands, but also displayed are the private trackers who pick up each release and their associated pretimes.
Trac3 - the Internet’s first real PHP trace DB - has actually been in beta for about 2 months, but recently made their public debut on October 10th. Behind the scenes, their PreDB is already 43,000+ strong to complement nearly 50 different private trackers currently being tracked. Other release details consist of Info mouseovers; which include # of files and release size. Nuked releases (if applicable) are also shown including the reason for the nuke.
Tracker Stats:
Pretimes are listed next to each release, and a handy mouseover feature on individual tracker icons shows the pretime for each. Icons can be clicked-in to show individual tracker stats (all-time) in relation to number of races and placing.
