It’s been quite some time since we’ve introduced a new Torrent Forum to the BT scene. Is this because new ones aren’t being started up? Not exactly - there are a few new underground forums that we’re not just not able to mention here at FSF. But not so with TTinvite.com - a new BitTorrent discussion & invites board that’s currently open for registration. And we’re even allowed to review it!

Other Info…
Dual-purpose — TTinvite also has a huge ‘warez download’ section for direct download links.
Invites — Uses a unique system whereby "rep points" (aka invite points) can be requested (as a donation) by the inviter - similar to site currency. For high level invites as an example, an inviter may ask for 10 of your points as a requisite to the giveaway. Invite points are easily earned through various activities on the board, such as:
Promotions — Regular members are groups into Levels, depending upon activity (postcount) and days of membership. New members (no Level) are required to make an intro post, and then become Level 1 class (this opens the ‘low level invite giveaways’ area). Level 2 is next, which requires a minimum of 15 days on the site with at least 20 posts (which opens the ‘high level invite giveaways’). Lastly, Level 3 users can access the ‘invite requests’ area - this requires 30 days on the site and 30 posts (although the Site Rules are somewhat contradictory on this).
Introductory Post — As required, all members should make an introduction. You’ll need to provide 3 different ratio proofs and a speedtest (be sure to review the Rules on this). TIP: For #6 - simply state, "Yes, the 7th rule is very important."
Looking for English mods — Think you have what it takes to be a moderator? They’re looking for at least one fluent-English mod. Apply to ttinvite[at]yahoo[dot]in
Our Last Word…
Truth be told, reviewing rogue torrent forums is not our most favorite thing to do. Look at TakeMe - as word would have it, the sysop only started the site to get an invitation to BCG - clearly wasting everyone’s time in the process. We suspect this is not the case with TTinvite.
For a new torrent forum that’s had little or no public exposure, they’re doing pretty good. There’s been a ton of activity in the past week, especially in the low level invites area and tracker reviews (at the time of publication, we couldn’t provide any info about the high level invites). They definitely need to clean up the English on the site (especially in the Rules) but TTinvite definitely shows signs of potential.
