How To Switch What.CD Theme To Look Like OiNK.CD

January 05, 2009 by sharky

Ever wanted to take a stroll down memory lane and revisit the beloved music tracker OiNK.cd? We can’t exactly do that, but if you have an account at What.cd you can do the second-best thing — and that’s customize What.cd with a few tweaks to get it (mostly) displaying torrents just like how the old OiNK did. Just follow these three easy steps, and you’ll be OiNKing in no time!

1. Change Your Stylesheet

When logged into your What.cd account, click on the [edit] button next to your username at the top right. For where it says "Stylesheet > - Or - External CSS", enter in this address:

Be sure to click "Save Profile" at the bottom. You’ll automatically notice that What.cd has taken on a pink theme, with some other minor changes.

2. What.cd Tags to Category Icons

You’ll now need to add the old OiNK-style torrent category icons. To do this, you’ll need to add a GreaseMonkey script into Firefox:

After installing, refresh your What.cd/torrents.php page. You’ll now notice that the What.cd tagging system has been replaced with OiNK.cd category icons.

3. Checkmark ‘Disable Grouping’

To make the torrent browsing as authentic to OiNK.cd as possible, put a checkmark in "Disable Grouping" in the search filter window on the torrents.php page. Click "Filter Torrents" to complete the stylization.

Voila! You now have What.cd looking like the old OiNK.
