ETIV Reopens Registration For the Next 24 Hours

This weekend, we’ve got an impressive array of torrent forum info to catch you up on, starting with Etiv.in. Etiv began life merely two months ago, yet has quickly blossomed into one of the Internet’s hotspots for tracker invites & discussion. After we announced their humble beginning, Etiv quickly closed public registration after just a few short days, and hasn’t been open since - until now. Missed the boat? Etiv.in Updates:

A lot has changed at Etiv since they first hit the scene:

• The site is fully secure, and completely SSL forced (https) with a verified SSL certificate, so none of that "add exception" or "unknown trusted site" crap.

• Login is through a system similar to "cPanel". You’ll get it, we hope.

• Employs their own IRC server, with main channels only available to Etiv members, as well as it being SSL only.

• Seedboxes: Offers OVH seedboxes to members through http://etivbox.net. To quote: "We sell the kimsufi L or CG-05 for $47USD and people can bring a friend and split the cost, and we will setup a shared seedbox for them as well. We will install any torrent program you want. VNC, uTorrent 1.8.2 with WebUI, FTP, lxde and iceweasel are all included. You also get complete root access to your dedicated seedbox. We do charge an extra $5 for setup if you get something that is not included. This $5 extras includes: Firefox, NX, Deluge, rtorrent, etc.".
