This is a reversal of an article we published two months ago, entitled - "Invites: The Top 50 Requested Private Trackers". This time we’ve come up with a list of the top 240 private trackers whose invites are being offered at 5 popular Torrent Forums. Let’s face it, when it’s all said and done, the success of a Torrent Forum can be measured by the number of good, active members. This in turn correlates to the number of tracker invite giveaways - isn’t that what most of us are there for? Almost every tracker you ever wanted is attainable, you just need to know where to look. So, what’s the most common private tracker invite giveaway? IPTorrents wins in a landslide with well over 230 different offers - just in 2009 alone. And which torrent forum gives away the most tracker invites overall? Looks like ThePirateSociety wins this race.
The table below can be used to gauge where the best possibility lies for finding a particular tracker invite. For example, if you’re searching for Waffles, your best chance is at TPS or TrackeReactor. However, if it’s LzTr you seek, you’re better off looking for it at TorrentInvite.com.
Collecting The Stats…
These were actual stats collected manually from Giveaway Threads from five popular Torrent Forums. They were: ThePirateSociety, P2PTalk, TrackeReactor and TorrentInvite.com. Oh yes, we’re talking about hours and hours of work - no stone was left unturned here.
— 2009 Only: Stats were collected from giveaway threads that were created Jan 01/09 and later - all others were discarded. Thus, if a giveaway thread was created on 12/22/08 and later edited in 2009 (to add more), the entire thread was not included. However, threads that were closed - but were created in 2009 - were included.
— These also include “account” giveaways (where applicable) - some sites allow it, others don’t.
— Numbers do NOT reflect how many invites are remaining at each site, as many have been filled or members banned. It only reflects what was offered at the time of the giveaway. "Fulfilled" invite giveaways were still counted in the stats, assuming the giveaway was started in 2009. Threads edited (in which new trackers were added) were also included.
— The number of "invites" reported for each only reflects the number of instances a tracker was offered per giveaway, not the total number of invites available for each tracker. Therefore, "5X - BitGamer" (referring to 5 invites available) is counted only as one giveaway ‘instance’. Thus the "5X" is only counted as a "1".
— Stats include "VIP" forums and other hidden areas available to approved members only (yeah, we have access to these!) Stats also include invite sub-forums (Low Level Invites, High Level Invites) where applicable.
— Sites that have a ‘closed’ invite system (Blackcats, HDBits) were still included.
— Some sites, such as PTN, were included although they still require a recruitment questionnaire/form in order to achieve the invite - so it’s somewhat misleading. Take, for example, TrackeReactor - many PtN invites are offered but it comes back to the questionnaire. TPS avoids this by having a recruitment thread, thus PTN giveaways are forbidden (or, directed towards one main thread).
— Many forums respect a "no-movement" clause in which certain trackers are off-limits to direct invite giveways - and instead are forwarded to recruitment methods; as in the case of What.cd, PtN, x264 and a variety of others.
— Stats don’t take into consideration for spammers that create a new thread every 4 days, offering the exact same invites.

*The stats for TPS only go back to February 1st, 2009 for their ‘regular’ giveaway sub-forum. In 16 days, there’s been more than 1,000 individual tracker giveaways (not threads). All other sites’ stats go back to January 1st, 2009.
