Private Trackers’ Invite Systems - When and How

May 26, 2008 by sharky

Ever wanted to know why it’s so hard to get invited to some private trackers? Ever wonder when and how a private tracker decides to give invites to its members?

Each site gives out invites to qualifying members who meet a set of positive criteria for the tracker - be it a good share-ratio, or uploaded GB, or both - and these conditions vary greatly from site to site. Obviously some are much more stringent than others; and some down-right just want money for them. Here’s a compilation of what each private tracker requires before issuing out invites. Maybe now you’ll understand why it’s so difficult to get into ScT.

AudioNews.ru = Apparently they got rid of their invite system, although the statistic "You have 0 Invites" remains on my account. Opens to new members on the first 2 days of each month.

AOM (Art of Misdirection) = Uses an invites system, but the requirements are unknown.

BitHQ = Users can spend their "BitHQ Money" in the HQ Banking for invites.

Bithumen = 5 points (pt) for 1 invite. Every Month: It works on a ‘point system’ consisting of the biggest uploads: The top 20,000 get 1 pt, top 1,000 get 2 pt, top 100 get 3 pt, top 10 get 4 pt and number 1 get 5 pt.

Bit-HDTV = You get 5 invites if you have benn a member for 10 weeks and upload 200 GB and you ratio is over 2.05. You get also one invite for every 100 GB you upload.

BitGamer = Invites work on a ‘download amount’ and ’sharing ratio’ scheme:

  • .90 — 1-4 GB
  • .95 — 4-7 GB
  • 1.0 — 7-10 GB
  • 1.05 — 10+ GB

BitMe = No member will be able to have or receive any more than 3 invites at any one time. Invites are no longer given out upon promotion; for ANY class. They are now allocated automatically to eligible members every 30 days. Invites will only be given out to Power Users and above. Any members in the user class will find that they have had any existing invites reduced to zero and will need to achieve promotion to become eligible again. Invites remain a privilege and may still be disabled for violation of rules (i.e. re-inviting previously disabled users back into site, etc.).

BitMeTV = PU get invites every month, assuming download amount and ratios are within:

  • 1 Invite: 1-7GB Ratio 0.90 - 0.999
  • 2 Invites: 7-10GB Ratio 1.0 - 1.049
  • 3 Invites: 10GB + Ratio 1.05+

ChildBytes = Is open to new registrations.

ChristianTorrents = Invites are handed out to Power Users on a weekly basis, currently 3 invites per week.
